In a valley nestled among the mountains, a moody, nocturnal young man attends his mother's funeral. In the days that follow, he begins to notice ominous signs of an impending apocalypse: an unknown comet appears in the sky, a mysterious neighbor and a large black dog arrive in the valley, and his dreams take on a threatening quality.

As his relationship with his father grows colder in the icy winter, the boy decides to confront the forest and whatever lurks within it.

For this story, we’ve gathered two budding actors alongside two seasoned ones, brimming with techniques and experience. The crew is composed of a ring of international professionals, joined by young talents striving to carve their path in the challenging world of cinema.

Experiencing the grief of losing a loved one had a devastating impact on the director and on many of the professionals who took on this project. For them—and we hope for anyone who has felt it—this short film is a channeling, a sacred embodiment of suffering expressed through the most wonderful of arts, the one closest to life itself: cinema.
